BOXING TRAINING

When you step into the ring, you learn a lot about yourself. When you make the decision to get in your car or take the bus to our gym, you've already made a decision that so many won't make. Our coaches are highly experienced fighters who are grounded in the fundamentals and disciplines needed to develop the skills, the endurance, the strength, and to help you find that fire inside. Our community of members become more than just members, everyone becomes friends and warriors, together in this tribe.

  • Group Fundamentals

    Whether you're a seasoned professional or a day one walking into a boxing gym for the first time, everyone needs to focus on the fundamentals. They are without a doubt the most important part of competition fighting and self-defense. 


    In this class you will work on hand position, defensive head position, shot placement, breaking down the mechanical movements, offensive and defensive footwork and more. Everyone needs to do this one. 


    When: Monday 5:00pm -7:00pm & Friday 5:00pm – 7:00pm

  • Group Drilling and Sparring

    To understand how to operate in a physical fight, whether it be competitive or confrontational, you need to have drilled in the responses hundreds or thousands of times. In these classes you will learn the technical aspects of both offense and defense while working then with a live opponent in a controlled environment. These are the classes that put your skills together and take them to the next level. We cover all aspects of boxing including offense, defense and countering. Some qualifications may be required to join this class. 


    When: Tuesday 5:00pm – 7:00pm & Thursday 5:00pm – 7:00pm

  • The Master's Warrior Club

    Do you want to learn how to box but feel like maybe you're a bit long in the tooth to start? The Masters warrior Club is just the place for you.  The minimum start age is 45 and in this class you'll find other like-minded (and aged) students who are learning the age old art of fist fighting. You will learn various techniques and fundamentals along with light drilling and bag work. There will also be recovery sessions to help prevent injury.

Our 20 ft cage sets the stage for anyone interested in training in the Mixed Martial Arts. Our coaches can work with you no matter your level of experience. From developing your striking abilities, your footwork, and your ground game...your road to MMA fighting starts here at SSBC.

YOUTH BOXING

When youth learn how to defend themselves and gain the disciplines & principles that come with training, they gain self-confidence and self-esteem that will aid them in other facets of their development. Our coaches work with kids of all ages and experience levels. SSBC is a safe place for youth; whether it's something they do alone, with a parent or sibling, or who need an after-school activity. Our coaches have children of their own, and treat all of the youth fighters as if they were their own.
