MATT LEYSHOCK

Head Coach | Founder

Having been in the game since the mid-90s Matt has trained with basically anybody who's anybody who has come out of this area. Former promoter, mixed martial artist and boxer with a 15-year wrestling background along with 8 years of submission wrestling, Matt has something for everyone.

Matt has trained multiple professional athletes in both mixed martial arts and professional boxing such as current bellator star Cody Law, undefeated professional Greg Rudolph, internet celebrity Ed Latimore and numerous others. Matt has a unique position in the sport with not only understanding technical aspect at a very high level but also the business side coming from a promoter's background with over 30 professional fights promoted regionally.

SAM SUSKA

Co-Owner

Sam is a certified personal trainer with over 15,000 hours of personal training expertise, and thousands of hours in boxing gyms and sparred well over 1,000 rounds. He is also a veteran of over 40 fights including eight professional bouts and 35 amateur bouts. Sam has sparred with some of the best fighters in the area and the consensus best in the world such as Roy Jones Jr and Steve Cunningham to name a few. Sam is also 2X PA state Golden Glove champ  from 2006 and 2009.

JAMES BROWN

Coach

James Brown is a professional fighter with a background in both mixed martial arts and boxing. He has been around the game a long time and has produced great results with his no nonsense attitude and high efficiency work rate. James has a great attention to detail and a really solid approach to developing technique whether it be on a first day trial or a 30 fight professional.

DEON GOODLOW

Coach

Deon "the bloodhound" Goodlow is an active professional boxer with experience in both MMA and Boxing. Deon's "any one, any time, any where" attitude has lead him to the top of the regional food chain. He has 10+ years of experience in combat sports and has become a stand out in the coaching world.

ED LATIMORE

Coach

At one point Ed Latimore was ranked in the top 5 in the country as an amateur. He was eventually recruited by the all American heavyweight camp in Los Angeles where he trained and fought against massive amateur fighters from around the country including Dominic Brazealle and others. 


He eventually became a professional amassing a 13-1 record with 7 knockouts. Eventually he decided to retire and start the next chapter of his life, leaving his fighting career behind. Now Eddie is now a Twitter and social media expert who also happens to be a professional instructor at our club. He is currently there Wednesday nights between 5-7pm. 

Amateur accolades:


  • Pennsylvania State National Golden Gloves in 2011 at the 201+ lb weight class.
  • National amateur boxing champion by winning the National Police Athletic League boxing tournament in Toledo, Ohio at the 201+ lb weight class
  • He holds notable amateur victories over former IBF heavyweight champion Charles Martin and 2012 United States Olympian and two-time title challenger Dominic Breazeale.
